(‘Colombia’ 1976, by Antonio Caro, one of the father figures of conceptual art in Colombia)
Check out a good read from Rainbow Nelson (Wallpaper* magazine) when he visited Medellin Colombia on the art scene and bumped into Hans Ulrich Obrist.
Hope everyone has a good turkey day!
Monday night, I’m in Miami Dade College doing some research in the computer lab on the developing of my own moral system for my critical thinking course and I tell you, it’s a drag! I enjoy thinking critically on topics which I appreciate talking about, but at times some of the theories that have been created through-out time are insane. Utilitarianism is one for instance which is a little bizarre. You only get a high or a low and its extreme high and/or extreme low. Sounds like a bad case of being a bi-polar or having a bad case of depression. Not my thing. Next is Kantianism, a certain rationality that ensures its rightness. Last but not least its virtue-based ethics. Virtue ethics has an understanding that once you succeed at becoming whole, the verdict will be of satisfaction then of desirable want. I won’t exactly say which one I would go for, but I can say it’s time to get back to my school work, ugh! ><
They are here! You seen them all around Miami Beach and this is the reason.
